You ever heard that song by Whitesnake, "Here I Go Again On My Own"? He says, "I've made up my mind, I ain't wastin' no more time, here I go again." I would not recommend watching the video though! Ahhh, the 80's. Who knew one day the videos would offend me! But that section of lyrics reflects how I'm feeling right now.I've tried to change so many times, so many ways. I end up eating the same *hi# different day. But, here I go again, convicted and unable to be a quitter!
I watched a video on Netflix recently. I would recommend you watch this one! It was callled "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead". And yes, the dude was. And so was the other dude. And they both reversed their diseases by juicing whole fruits and veggies for, well, several days, 60 to be exact. But I'm not shooting for 60. I found their website
and plan on starting a juice fast on Monday, February 6th. I found a juicer on Craigslist. It's suppose to be a high quality one, for 1/4 the price. It's a Jack Lalaane Deluxe Juicer. Hope it does what I want it to do!
This week I'm suppose to be preparing my body for the upcoming fast. I'm suppose to be eating way more veggies and fruits and cutting dairy out by the end of the week, and refined sugars and everything else I love like coffee and beer and pop.
I always find an excuse to not start, or to quit. The good news? I haven't given up on me or God. Together, I believe we can change me.
I plan on posting pictures of me in the same clothes on a somewhat regular basis. I hope by the end of my fast, there is a remarkable change in my behavior, my body, my spirit, my everything. Who knows, maybe I'll even be a better saxophonist! :)
